Session 3.1 – Defining the Project
Module 3: From Prompt to Prototype | Duration: 2 hrs
Learning Objectives
- Articulate a clear problem statement for your application.
- Identify the target audience to tailor the AI's persona.
- Begin filling out the Prompt Builder Worksheet.
The Problem Statement
Every great app starts with a problem. Before you prompt, ask: What does this tool solve? Is it automating a task? Organizing information? Entertaining users?
Target Audience
Who is this for? Knowing your audience helps the AI determine the tone and complexity of the interface.
Example 1: "Kids aged 5-8 learning math."
Result: Colorful, large buttons, simple text.

Prompt Builder Worksheet
We will use the Prompt Builder Worksheet (available in resources) to combine your problem, audience, and BASE framework components into a single master prompt.
Session Summary
You have defined the "What" and the "Who." In the next session, we will define the "How" by mapping the user flow.
